Upon leaving the Last Supper, Jesus goes on a journey. He's betrayed by a friend, arrested by his enemies, subjected to series of ridiculous show trials, tortured, killed, and buried. John 18-19 give us the most detailed window into the physical and emotional pain that Christ endures. However, in examining the climax of Christ's earthly life, we have look past the mere facts of what happened and go to the motivation behind it all.
